The jobs of wedding photographers are on the rise.
In 2017, the Adelaide Wedding Photographers Association (AWPA) released its annual “Top 25 Job Trends” report, which shows that the number of weddings in Australia is on the up.
According to AWPA, the industry has witnessed a 12 per cent growth over the past five years, with more than 100 new jobs created during the same period.
The report’s research indicates that the current trend of wedding photography has been driven by the rise of digital photography, the rise in the number and popularity of digital wedding photography platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and the rise and popularity and popularity on social media of wedding events.
A recent study conducted by digital imaging firm IHS, which looked at over 200 weddings in the US, found that wedding photography is increasingly popular and that it has become the most popular way to capture weddings.
According the study, the average wedding photographer’s income was $180,000 in 2016.
The study also revealed that in 2015, weddings cost an average of $10,800, while the average price for wedding photos was $3,500.
The rise in weddings can be attributed to the rise to the use of social media to share wedding photos.
“People are more likely to share a wedding photos and they’re more likely than ever to share their weddings on social networking platforms,” said Jenny McNeil, executive director of the AWPA.
“This has resulted in a lot of weddings taking off, which has been very positive for the industry.”
McNeil added that wedding photographers have been able to get paid by increasing their hours.
“The number of hours they’re working has increased,” she said.
“That’s why it’s important for photographers to have a secure income and we want to ensure that photographers are able to continue to grow.”
The AWPA’s research also showed that the amount of weddings that were filmed online increased by 10 per cent over the same time period.
This growth has been due to a number of factors, including the rise between 2014 and 2016 in the popularity of online wedding photography.
“We’re seeing a lot more weddings happening on social networks, but the popularity has really grown,” McNeil said.
McNeil is also hopeful that the industry will be able to benefit from the increasing popularity of wedding venues.
“It’s really good to see that wedding venues are getting a lot bigger and are taking advantage of the opportunities that are available,” she added.
“There’s also been a lot going on around the internet and the advent of digital technology in the past year.
It’s really exciting to see people taking advantage and making a name for themselves on social platforms.”
